how to download non-ascii files with cvsweb

I just installed cvsweb on RedHat 7.x and everything went well.  In our 
repository we have word documentation.  I would like to modify cvsweb so 
that when a cvs user clicks on the download link, it will download the 
particular revision rather than try to open it in a new browser window, 
like it would do for ascii files.  Has anyone gone this route before? 
Any hints would be appreciated?
