You don't need to use chroot if you've got a dedicated server for CVS.

(i.e. it won't give you any benefit -- only headaches)

If you don't have a dedicated server then using chroot via SSH may be an
option, but it's not a question for this forum -- try the SSH list:

(i.e. you'd be doing the chroot via SSH, not via CVS)
