I don't see anything strange about deleting the tag so I assume it's the checkout that has you confused. Although the tag was deleted, it still exists in the CVSROOT/val-tags file and thus is considered valid, so you don't get an error but you also don't get any files because the tag doesn't exist in any of them. -Larry Jones Bad news, Mom.
