On 09-02 I sent the following message to the mailing list. No one answered me. Hoping not to be unpolite I send it again. Maybe someone can help me. Tank you again.
Alberto Giordano. Hi all, I think that I have missed up my repository and I am very worried about it. The last time I updated a module in my working directory the CVS server said that some file where not present in the repository and cancelled them from my working dir. Starting from that moment I was unable to recover them. Before the update I removed a TAG from the module in the repository. So I tried to use the last backup of the repository. I saved the current repository with a different name and restored my last Friday backup. The file on my current working directory has a sticky tag (LADDER_WIN2000_0_2_1) that was not present when I did the backup of the repository, it is a branch name that was added after the backup. It seems that the repository and the working directory are no more "syncronized". Now I get the following message when I try to update the directory: cvs update -P -A RSGEFRAN.C (in directory F:\Projects\Ladder\) cvs [update aborted]: missing expected branches in f:/CVSROOT/Ladder/RSGEFRAN.C,v ***** CVS exited normally with code 1 ***** I get the same message if I try to commit. Do you think that removing the tag created the problem I am facing ? What can I do to get rid of this problem ? If you need more information about the problem feel free to ask me. Thank you in advance. Alberto Giordano _______________________________________________ Info-cvs mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/info-cvs
