I am having dificulty connecting from Eclipse CVS client to CVS server on linux machine. When adding new repository in Eclipse I get an error message: "I/O exception occured: Connection refused: /usr/local/cvsroot: no such repository". I can check out a project from /usr/local/cvsroot when working directly on the server but I cannot connect from the client.
Details:
$CVSROOT=/usr/local/cvsroot specified in root's .bash_profile
/usr/local/cvsroot/CVSROOT/passwd which has 1 line: anonymous:
cvsroot directory and all under is in cvs group
Thank you for your help.
Paul
