Hi !

I have a project under CVS control, that unfortunately is split
between two actual CVS archives:

- ARCHIVE1 contains the "old" part of the project.

- At one point in time, ARCHIVE2 was created by taking the latest
revisions of the files in ARCHIVE1 and importing them into ARCHIVE2.

- Since the switch ARCHIVE1 has not been changed.
All further work has been on ARCHIVE2.

My problem is that the "old" history of all files is lost in
ARCHIVE2. I would like to "replay" the changes done in ARCHIVE2 but
apply them "on top" of the history in ARHIVE1.

Can this be done with any existing tools ?

Both my archives are quite simple without any branches or other
complicating stuff.

Any help would be much appreciated.

/Johan Holmberg
