That's right, it doesn't work. If you look in sanity.sh you'll find disabled test cases around this. Derek and I discussed it in the past, but he hasn't had time to fix it properly yet. I would also be grateful if it were fixed, and may even have another go at it myself (my last attempt was quick and dirty). Especially if there is a desire to promote 1.12 to stable in the near future, because I don't want a stable release that includes this bug. Any idea of timeframe for promoting 1.12?
