Yes, we are using a combination of wincvs and tortoisecvs. The server is on linux, and is not CVSNT. Some of my linefeed woes seem to have been related to using a beta version of tortoisecvs (which I realize is not an issue for this list :) The problem for me is that our automated code review tool generates diffs via rdiff. Mark's explanation on the reasons behind the differences in diff/rdiff behaviour satisfied me, I guess I'll look into server-side cleanup.
