Feature CVS version 1.12.10 has been released. Feature releases
contain new features as well as all the bug fixes from the stable
releases. This version fixes quite a few serious, if fairly rare,
bugs in both the CVS client and server executables and includes (we
hope) a final fix for the infamous "Red File" bug on Windows.

New features include:

    * Thanks to Ximbiot <http://ximbiot.com> and funding from Juniper
Networks <http://juniper.net>, new scripting hooks and write
proxy functionality and redirects, which allow for multiple
distributed read servers proxying for or redirecting clients to
      a single write server.
    * Thanks to Brian Murphy <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, PAM session management.
    * Improved date and timezone handling.
    * Thanks to Dan Peterson <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> and others, improvements
      to the contributed scripts.

We recommend this upgrade for all CVS clients and servers already
running the feature release and for those who simply like to stay on
the cutting edge!

Take a look at the NEWS file

from the source distribution for a more exhaustive list of changes or

My PGP public key, ID# 0x17F231A4, is available from pgp.mit.edu and
its associated key servers, for verifying signatures on released files.

Cheers,

Derek
