How does the CVS work? I have read the documentation by Jim Blandy (https://www.cvshome.org/docs/blandy.html) but it doesn't say how the modified source code is updated into the server.
Does it update to the server via HTTP or FTP connections?
Our company is currently looking for a HTTP connection for updating as in some premises, there might be some firewall, not within our control, that blocks FTP connections.
