Frank:

We use CVS with Oracle.

Our developers use Toad for thier development, and then export thier
code as text files which are then checked into CVS. We have some scripts
which check out the pl/sql from CVS and apply them to the production
instance using Oracle's sqlplus.

I think that Oracle's jDeveloper has some CVS interface capabilities,
although we have not investigated this extensively.

Hope this helps.

PL/SQL

| Now i'm searching for possibilities to integrate them in ourch CVS driven

|
| Maybe there are some scripts out there or some tools, that synchronizes
| Sourcecode (no data) in Oracle with CVS or shows some differences or so.
|
| Acutally there is a lot of source code in Oracle (not in CVS) and
there is
| a problem with user acceptance.
|
| Any hints for this scenario are welcome.
