There's nothing wrong with my cvs-1.11.19 installation, and there's nothing wrong with my putty installation either .... so, assuming that the 2 can be made to work together, it's just a matter of discovering how that can be achieved. If the information is in there, then I'll find it ..... eventually :-) In the meantime I can transfer files between the linux and win32 boxes via a local connection, and do the cvs stuff from the linux box over a dial-up connection.
