Thanks for the quick reply. To ensure that I understand, and not
do anything undesirable, I have the following.

cvs status Makefile
===================================================================
File: Makefile          Status: Up-to-date

   Working revision:    1.2.4.12
   Repository revision: 1.2.4.12        /cvspath/Makefile,v
   Sticky Tag:          b_branch (branch: 1.2.4)
   Sticky Date:         (none)
   Sticky Options:      -kb

I want to clear the sticky option but not the sticky tag. Will
command you provided not affect the sticy tag?
