I have a situation here where I attempt to export (also happens with checkout and I think update) a module with cvs and it checks out everything but on the last thing it seems to hang. It appears as if all the checkouts have happened but cvs never returns to the prompt.

Using cvs -t I can see:

U bin-image2/win32-native.tar.gz
-> rename(.new.win32-native.tar.gz,win32-native.tar.gz)
-> Register(win32-native.tar.gz, 1.1, Wed Nov 24 19:48:47 2004, -kb,  )

This is the last file to be checked out and appears to be intact, yet cvs never returns to the command prompt. Is this a known bug? Is there a patch or workaround?

This is on Solaris with CVS version 1.11.2
