I have a problem. I just built a new server to host our CVS server, and
migrated to it last week.
Made a small oversight, though: took FreeBSD defaults when partitioning
-- not good.
256MB /tmp directory is not large enough, and caused big problems last
night when one of our developers was trying to commit.
I am going to build a new box with larger /tmp diretory, but in the
meantime, how can I tell the server to use "/usr/local/tmp" as the
temporary directory?
I see the $TMPDIR var, but am not clear on how to set it on the server,
so this is what the server will use during commits, checkouts, etc.
