Just to explain: my question is really:
"What does 'nothing known about XXX' mean when it's perfectly clearly
listed in the CVS/Entries file" ?
For example:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] /repository/users> cvs update mjm
cvs server: nothing known about mjm
[EMAIL PROTECTED] /repository/users> cat CVS/Entries
D/mjm////
[EMAIL PROTECTED] /repository/users>
Just as a side point, I find the error messages from CVS to often be
completely inscrutable, and the info page doesn't list very many of them;
does anyone know of a good reference that explains what these mysterious
statements actually mean - other than the actual source code?
