Right. Er, that is, right that you are wrong. Um... that is to say... :-)

Seriously, though, it doesn't matter if you move it to the Attic first.
CVS will happily work either way. Moving a file into the Attic directory
is basically an optimization, so that operations that are normally
performed only on "live" files (which tend to be the more common
operations one performs) can more easily ignore dead files.
