It may be reasonable to use a fake email address, but not one that's in a legitimate domain -- that *is* antisocial. As per RFC 2606, the four top-level domains .test, .example, .invalid, and .localhost are reserved for testing and example purposes and are thus guaranteed to never be assigned. Likewise for example.com, example.net, and example.org.
