.
I need to configure it with ViewVC, For that i have
visited the site
http://viewvc.red-bean.com/
RCS is the requirements and now when i am trying to
install
rcs5.7.I have successfully launched the frist step..
# ./configure
In second command ( make  or make install) i m facing
the error....

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

./conf.sh: testing permissions ...
./conf.sh: This command should not be run with
superuser permissions.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please take the time to read errors and slap them into google or your favorite search engine before posting questions on newsgroups.

After searching for the error, try to determine where the problem is (what application is causing the issue).  In your case, it is not CVS at all so this is the wrong group to post the question to.  Try searching for RCS in google groups.
