Additionally WinCVS is a front end to either CVS server or CVSNT
server. Most WinCVS users use CVSNT server, the newsgroup for which is
here:
CVSNT
server and WinCVS is very different from VSS, so you may want to consider
something like the commercial support offered by the CVSNT developers that
includes VSS - like gui and a eBook to get you started (the next release also
includes a VS.NET plugin).
Finally you will probably want to migrate your VSS database to CVSNT,
which is what this does:
