Dave,

There is a separate newsgroup for WinCVS:
http://groups.yahoo.com/subscribe/cvsgui

If it was working a few days ago - the obvious question would be if anything had changed on the client or server in those days.

Also there are various different CVS servers - many WinCVS users use CVSNT (on Unix/Linux/Windows) - which also has a different newsgroup.  CVSNT supports access control lists - if an ACL has been added you could get a similar error message.  But it you are using WinCVS then that newsgroup may be your best first point of contact.

Regards,

Subject: cvs error: authorization failed and rejected access

Hello all,

I have the following cvs client error:

The client is wincvs. It works fine few day ago. All of sudden, the user was not able to access and got the error. User can logon thro' putty without any problem.
It happens when user try to checkout or update.

Any help is very appreciated.
