Not sure if such a CVS command exists, but I would like to be able to search though a CVS file looking for a particular string, even if this string has been removed at some point in it's history.
To get that you I think you pretty much have to grep "a particular string" /path/to/repository/a_file,v to make sure you find the string even if it has been removed in history. Then drop back to looking at cvs diff -rcurver -roldver a_file to see when it happened. -- Todd Denniston Crane Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC Crane) Harnessing the Power of Technology for the Warfighter _______________________________________________ info-cvs mailing list [email protected] http://lists.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/info-cvs
