That said, if you have compilers for the box, there should be nothing that prohibits you from building it yourself from sources. 1) Download the sources: ftp://ftp.gnu.org/non-gnu/cvs/source/stable/1.11.22/cvs-1.11.22.zip or ftp://ftp.gnu.org/non-gnu/cvs/source/stable/1.11.22/cvs-1.11.22.tar.gz 2) Unpack them using either unzip or a recent version of tar that understands how to do gunzip. 3) Read the README.VMS file. The script build.com in the top-level directory should let you build the various things. If you run into problems building cvs, send e-mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and someone will try to help you out. I hope the above is useful. -- Mark -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.4 (FreeBSD) iD8DBQFE2TUuCg7APGsDnFERAoyhAKCKgmTaHSdKQXoMczRP5+LrXcwL7QCfV3yh k0tMvUPlD7jggofxW2RYF84= =Y+0w -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ info-cvs mailing list [email protected] http://lists.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/info-cvs
