Amir,

This is a fairly "old" way of working. If you are on windows then you
are probably running CVSNT - just upgrade to the latest stable and use
the :ssh: protocol (it's a copy of putty embedded in CVSNT).

Note: there is a separate newsgroup for CVSNT - go to the web site to
find the link.

Regards,

Arthur

Subject: CVS over plink: Unable to read standard input

I've been using CVS over plink from my Windows box for a couple years
with no trouble.

Starting recently, when I run a cvs command, it appears to work, but
when it finishes, I get a message on the terminal: Unable to read from
standard input

Any thoughts on why this is occurring? I can do a simple "plink host
echo hi" without getting the message. I'm not sure whether the problem
is cvs(nt), plink, or some combination thereof.

Thanks,

-Amir Karger
