Thanks. I tried running this in the working directory, but CVS complains that it doesn't know anything about the tag. Todd D's cvs2cl suggestion in a later message worked well, thanks! Can anybody comment on the speed of tagging a repository with 6-7K files? Also, how much of a disk hit are we looking at? We're going to be marking things several times a week... Is there a FAQ or reference site somewhere that discusses this stuff? Thanks! -Pete
