No, *any* drive letter strongly implies you're using Windows, and the vast majority of Windows users use CVSNT (whether they know it or not). Most of the remainder use cygwin, so you're in a very small minority. > I'm new here, and its very clear there seems to be a chip on some > people's shoulders here regarding CVSNT, so I will make sure I prefix > my future questions, with "Note Well: NOT USING CVSNT, CYGWIN, JUST > CVS FOR WINDOWS", not that I see anyone else going thru the trouble. There aren't any chips on shoulders, but CVS and CVSNT are different enough that you really do need to post to the correct forum to get the best answers, but most users don't realize that and post here regardless. Arthur has taken it upon himself to redirect the lost and clueless to the correct place and sometimes jumps the gun. Since he has a vested interest in CVSNT, that's understandable if not entirely desirable. Since you are, as I said above, in a very small minority, it *would* be helpful in the future to add a quick note clarifying your environment to avoid confusion and spurious suggestions. -- Larry Jones Sometimes I think the surest sign that intelligent life exists elsewhere in the universe is that none of it has tried to contact us. -- Calvin
