Firstly, may I offer my appreciation to the Cyrus team for an excellent system. I have been experimenting with Cyrus IMAPD since version 2.0.6, and am now preparing to deploy version 2.0.12 on RedHat Linux 7 as our faculty mail server, for approximately 1500 users. My question is: Should I create multiple mailbox partitions to avoid having 1500 directories at the same level, or is this not a problem ? Clearly there is some advantage to breaking up the locations, as this is done with the seen and quota info under /var/imap. My server is a single-processor 800 MHz PIII, with 256 Mb RAM, and a RAID system with 10K rpm IBM drives on a DPT SmartRAID VI controller. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Graham Kean [EMAIL PROTECTED] Network Manager University of Auckland Medical School Private Bag 92019, Auckland, New Zealand. --------------------------------------------------------------------
