Hi List

One of my users has set up his pop3 account to leave messages on my servers.

When he reads or deletes some of them that instantly re-populate his inbox
as if they have not been read or deleted.

Would anyone now what could be happening.

What client? Outlook? I'm guessing it doesn't like the UIDs that Cyrus is issuing via the UIDL command, even though they are legal per RFC 1939.

I have advised him that if he wants to leave the emails on our servers then
he should use Imap instead of pop3.

True, but this *should* work with a standards-compliant POP3 client.
