Summing Inputs from two LED's

I have an application that requires summing the output from 1330 and 1510
nanometer LED's for introduction to a multimode 100micron core
intereferometer.  If a typical 2X 2 or 1X2  50/50 coupler is utilized, a
loss of  3.7 to 4.4 dB is common.

Is there more efficient technology or products available that create a "Y"
coupler that  is not simply  an "X" coupler with one leg chopped off.
