I am looking for information about deployed DWDM networks, DWDM system
design examples and DWDM real case studies to include in our training
course on
DWDM technology. I would be very grateful if you could help providing
such
information. Interesting details would include:
- Deployment dates
- Fiber (distances, type etc)
- Route type (buried, OPGW etc)
- Network application, services carried, protocols
- TDM rates
- DWDM (total number of channels, channels lit, system suppliers etc)
- Span length / amplifier spacing
- Number of optical ampliffiers
- Use of DCM - dispersion compensation modules ? number, type, supplier
- Use of optical add-drop ? number, locations, type etc
- Initial project goals (network initial plans)
- System upgrades
- Any other useful information
