Hello Antonio, Since I am enjoying GNU software since the 80s, working with GNU Chess brings back some good memories :-)
GNU4u runs on a Server at Hetzner in Germany, in an Ubuntu Container in a screen session in the background. So, it could run 24/7, as long as nothing bad happens, like a server reboot, or a disconnect from lichess. Once it stops working, it needs a manual reactivation. So it may well be down a couple of hours or even a day or two. But I intend to have it online for now. Since March 9th it has already played >280 games, and participated in tournaments, mixed human and Bots. Since these mixed tournaments are a new feature at Lichess, and humans tend to not want to play against superhuman capable bots, a middle-class engine like GNU Chess is quite interesting, even if being too strong for most players.
