I am very happy to announce the next release of GNU fdisk. This release is numbered 1.0, celebrating the advent of GPL version 3 and fdisk's transition to this new license.
Description =========== GNU fdisk aims to replace various UNIX operating systems' legacy partitioning tools with libparted-based ones that mimic the interface of those tools. Currently implemented alternatives are: o util-linux ``fdisk'' o util-linux ``cfdisk'' The latter one thanks to Milko Krachounov, who worked on it as Google Summer of Code project. ############################################ ## Please help develop more alternatives! ## ############################################ Download ======== Gzipped and b2zipped tarballs are available from ftp://ftp.gnu.org/pub/gnu/ftp/gnu/fdisk/ and its mirror sites.
