hello, good morning

There appears to be two 38.8.0 versions, what is the difference between
38.8.0 GNU2 and 38.8.0 GNU1 please ?

Thank you for the advice and suggesting of which to use.

If you have a working or partly working program that you'd like
to offer to the GNU project as a GNU package,
