-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi,
libburnia project is embarassed to announce the bug fix release version 1.5.8.pl01 of GNU xorriso, a ISO 9660 Rock Ridge filesystem manipulator. Available on GNU FTP mirrors as xorriso/xorriso-1.5.8.pl01.tar.gz Changes: This patch level release hopefully addresses the problem in https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2454542#c9 by Kevin Fenzi: "The server dvd iso no longer builds." Trigger was the use of -indev before -outdev with input files from NFS. Novelties: * Bug fix: The meaning of parameters "off" and "on" with command -projid was interchanged, which led to SORRY messages when inserting files from Linux filesystems which do not support ioctl(FS_IOC_FSGETXATTR) (NFS, ISO 9660, FAT, ...). The problem did not appear: * if no -projid is performed and no -indev is chosen, * or if -projid is performed before -outdev and no -indev is chosen, * or if the -as mkisofs emulation is used for the whole xorriso run. - ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- License: GPLv3+ System requirements: - - GNU/Linux: kernel 2.4 or newer, libc, libpthread - - FreeBSD : libc, libpthread, libiconv, IDE and SATA drives need atapicam - - Solaris : libc, libpthread, libvolmgt - - NetBSD : libc, libpthread - - OpenBSD : libc, libpthread - - on other X/Open systems there will be no direct operation of CD/DVD/BD drives, but only POSIX i/o which may or may not be offered by the system for DVD-RAM, DVD+RW, or BD-RE.
