Hello This is strange. When using my university connection there is a clear distinction between sending ordinary mail (via smtpmail) or sending news to newsgroup. However I am now abroad reading the news, when I post news, for reasons unknown to me also sending via mail is invoked. That also happens for a local nnml group using

The line sending via mail should not be there. What is the reason for this behaviour? The strange thing is this does not happen when I am using my standard connection at the university!
