Due to a backup error, I think I overwrote .newsrc.eld and my mail/.overview with slightly earlier versions. As a result, about are 100 read mails in the relevant directory, but have no presence in gnus unless I "jump" to them by article number. The .overview file skips them -- is there a way to inject them?
