When I enter an nnslashdot group the article header is listed but user
comments aren't (maybe Gnus knows what's good for me?).
I have switched to the latest cvs gnus, to no avail, and tried with and
without login-name and password set. I have created a new user and
tested without all the decades of gumph that has collected in my $HOME.
I have also watched the tcp traffic and articles are definitely being
received. Gnus just doesn't let me read them.
gnus-version reports "No Gnus v0.7", nnslashdot.el is at revision 7.14
