Hi I am getting my gmail - offlineimap - gnus up and running and I am quite happy with it. I just would like to move some email from my "[gmail]/All Mail" into an Archive group to move some message from gmail to make offlineimap faster.
So I would like to move all mails before 2011 into groups Archive.YEAR, where YEAR is the year of the email. I thought this is a case for splitting, but I didn't find anything to split according to date. Furthermore, as this sorting would be done once, spliting might not be the best approach.
