If you want to use this you'll need the messages offline in some way: (info "(gnus) Gnus Unplugged"), for e.g. The current Summary keeps them in a (info "(gnus) Article Backlog") for which only the 'raw' queries (info "(gnus) Searching for Articles") work. --
