If you need that, you'll have to make the (virtual) 'server' workable 'unplugged' - 'agentize' for nnimap ones, for e.g.: see (info "(gnus) Gnus Unplugged") - and start with M-x gnus-unplugged. > If I do a "g" to get the new messages, > new messages are fetched. > > Is that the only way to get into the groups at least?
