1. As of Emacs 30.2, this package does not appear to be included in Emacs and it is not a package that can be installed from either the "gnu" or "nongnu" archives (the defaults provided with Emacs). It is also not available in the "Melpa" archive. A web search led me to: https://github.com/altruizine/gnus-alias Is this the package to which you’re referring? If so, then, unfortunately, it is not available via Emacs package manager. New users of Emacs and Gnus might not want to use that package until they become more experienced and capable with Gnus and Emacs Lisp. 2.
