Updated binary RPMs for SuSE, based on the latest* gnustep core releases, are now available for download from:
<URL:http://www.rstonehouse.co.uk/extras/gnustep-1.11/SuSE_9.3/> These should be sufficient to set up a basic working GNUstep system. They comprise the core libraries together with GWorkspace and the GNUMail and ImageViewer applications. It is intended to add Gorm when the new version comes out, and possibly further applications - if there are any you would particularly like to see included, please let me know. Further information, with instructions for downloading, installing and getting started, is available in the file gnustep-1.11-README.txt in the above directory. The RPMS were built against SuSE 9.3 and have only been tested under that release, but I am not aware of any reason why they should not work under SuSE 9.2. Please note that these RPMs are incompatible with previous GNUstep versions - any old GNUstep software must be removed before installing. * gnustep-make and gnustep-make version 1.11.0, and gnustep-gui and gnustep-back 0.10.0 -- Richard Stonehouse _______________________________________________ Info-gnustep mailing list [email protected] http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/info-gnustep
