I subscribed to this list several months ago, but have not seem much action!
I am a high school physics teacher at a specialized school for kids gifted
in science and math. We serve several school systems in the surrounding
region. Each Friday morning I teach 3 senior technology labs. We started a
high-speed photography lab this year. So far the students have put together
sound triggers using info published by Loren Winters. The students have
gotten great photos of balloons bursting using the sound trigger and 2
Vivtar 283 flash units. We will eventually put together some time delay
circuits and photogate triggers.
Is this list open to beginner groups like ours or is for more sophisticated
technology? I have some questions and ideas I would like some advice on.
We also have the capability of doing strobe photography utilizing PASCO
Model SF-9211 stroboscopes. Some students have done projects using these
for their research class.
