instrument somone has available presumably for sale. I decided to agree to
help for two reasons: 1. it was a polite request and 2. maybe to make us

Dear Prof. Davidhazy,
I'm a graduate student at Brigham Young University in Chemical Engineering.
In my lab, I have a HYCAM 16mm camera (Model 41-0004) that is not in use
and hasn't been for over a decade. I'm looking for a buyer. I have no idea
if you might be interested, but I was hoping you might be able to direct
me towards a company or someone who might be interested.
I guess the other question is "What is it worth?" To my knowledge, the
camera is in excellent shape. It was excess'd by the government and has
never been used since coming here. Obviously it comes with a manual,
some lenses, and even some frozen, unused film.
Just hoping you might be able to help.
