Second Call for ABSTRACTS
for the 24th International Congress
on High-Speed Photography and Photonics
September 24-29, 2000, Sendai, JAPAN

International Congress on High-Speed Photography and Photonics is a
biennial event that is dedicated to enabling and promoting an
understanding of rapid phenomena recorded by optical and photonic
methods. This event provides a forum for researchers to share and
exchange a wealth of knowledge through oral and poster presentations,
and commercial exhibits.
The 24th ICHSPP will follow in that tradition. All scientists,
engineers, and technologists are invited to attend, participate in
discussions, meet with authors and attendees, and participate in
technical and social events of the congress. We encourage companies to
take this chance to display the latest equipment and services.
Topics of discussion will include
1. High-Speed Photography
2. High-Speed Videography
3. High-Speed Image Processing
4. High-Speed Radiography
5. Explosion and Shock Wave Phenomena
6. Other Applications

** Form of abstract
Abstracts should be typewritten or word-processed on ONE A4 page. One
abstract should contain a title, author and coauthor names with complete
affiliation(s), including e-mail addresses.
** Submission
Abstracts can be submitted by post mail or e-mail. For electronic
submission, authors are requested to send the camera-ready abstract in
the PostScript or the PDF format.
One letter is requested to accompany with the abstract submitted. The
letter should indicate one or more topics of the abstract (which are
shown above), and preferred presentation (poster or oral). Authors may
suggest the names of three suitable referees and their addresses.
