Subj: Help with text/figures for a high speed photography article?
I have been working on a brief overview of high speed photography equipment
and techniques, past and present, for inclusion in an Encyclopedia. It is
supposed to be of an introductory, general, nature. I think the remuneration
is something like $10 per page ... not exactly something to get rich on!
Anyway, I have written some text and I thought maybe there would be someone on
this list who might be willing to read it and provide me with some enlightening
insights and suggestions for improving on what I've already put together. This
can all be done over email.
I also need illustrations of various sorts. The publisher wants these to be
free and clear for their use in future editions of the book, etc. In some cases
I have mentioned current cameras such as the "digital" Redlake, Phantom,
Ektapro EM (what is the "new" name?) and other cameras. Also the Dynafax and
other Cordin cameras. Included also is a reference to the Imacon and the other
related cameras. I could use sample photographs of these and others as well as
"output" from them.
Finally, the publisher also has requested that I provide names of potential
external reviewers. Might you be such a person? I don't know if there is any
financial recompense for this ... maybe a copy of the book?
