Greetings fellow lovers of e-rate, The process has begun again and I hope
that most of you are filing those 470’s this week or next at the
latest.� I received this today from Pam and thought
that I would forward it on to everyone. Pam Wrote: For
those of you who are ready to file form 471 (most of you are NOT ready since
your 470 hasn't "aged" for the required 28 days), I would advise you
to WAIT to do your 471 filing. The
SLD has developed a new online form 471 that is having tons of technical
problems. My advice: WAIT until the bugs are worked out. Don't file
a paper 471 form (because that will mean your 471 will be in one of the later
funding waves). I'll let you know when the online 471 seems to be
operating effectively. Pam
