Here in Fort Dodge, we're at the start of a study of all our information
systems--how to get them to talk to each other, avoid multiple data entry,
get needed reports easily, etc. (Obviously, some of this is prompted by
NCBL requirements, but also we just want to see if we can't operate more
efficiently across the whole district.)

As part of that study, I'd like to get a handle on what the districts
around us are doing.

I'm attaching a quick Word form that you could fill in if you would. (I've
included our local data as an example.) Don't spend a lot of time looking
for answers--feel free to leave sections blank. And, clearly this form is
organized around the way we organize here--so it may not fit your situation
well.

I'll be happy to put all the info together and send it out to everyone when
it's finished. Don't know if this overall look would be helpful to you
also or not.

Thanks in advance to everyone who responds. And Merry Merry Christmas!

C.
