Greetings, I received a call fro Bev Schroeder in Senator Harkin's office. Harkin was able to secure $2 million in Star School funding for Iowa in the Labor HHS Conference Committee!. These $s are for CSC-type grants ( as in the past two years). Wonderful news! I'm sure that a press release will be issued by Harkin's office in the next day or so.
