We purchased a HP scanjet 4470c. USB. mac or pc. We installed it on a G4 powermac with 256k Ram. The main problem was that it took lots of memory which caused me to adjust a lot of my other programs to give them more memory just to function. It was also not easily removed. It installs a lot of programs -- each have to be found and eliminated manually if you no longer want the scanner on a particular computer. We have moved the scanner to a pc and it works much better on that platform.
